Fixed certain multishot alt-fire attacks, namely from the Arum Spinosa and Quassus, dealing unintentionally high damage to Archons. (Update 35)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arum Spinosa and Quassus, which have projectiles that are not treated as Multishots internally, can oneshot Archons. Since there are many weapons that can defeat Archons easily, they are not outstanding but one of good weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arum Spinosa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The number of projectiles is more than that of Quassus at 18, but it is necessary to increase its Critical Chance with Wrathful Advance. The required damage per projectile to oneshot them is about 800,000 against Overguard if you only hit with the projectiles. If you also hit with the melee heavy attack part that deals more than 400,000×2 damage against Archons, the required damage is probably about 600,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it may be better to hit only with the projectiles because the damage attenuation that is based on the damage dealt sometimes applies to the projectiles when you hit with the melee heavy attack part. (Since I have only observed this with the Red 2x VS build, the damage attenuation might be based on the old damage calculation where Critical Multiplier is applied as is.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quassus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The number of projectiles is less than that of Arum Spinosa at 12, but you can use the powerful Xata’s Whisper thanks to the high Critical Chance. Since the projectile is fired in a fan shape, it is recommended to apply a Void proc or throw Scourge in advance. If you only hit with the projectiles, the required damage is about 3,000,000 without Xata’s Whisper. With 52% Xata’s Whisper, that is likely about 900,000 with body shots and 700,000~800,000 with headshots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with Arum Spinosa, the damage attenuation sometimes applies to the projectiles when you hit with the melee heavy attack part with Xata’s Whisper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
